Augie’s Pizza is a local family-owned business - not a national chain - that has been around for over 40 years. Augustine (”Augie”) D’Amicone migrated from Italy and started his own pizza shop in 1965. Augie’s Pizza has locations in North Royalton, South Russell and Independence. Augie’s Pizza in Independence opened in August 2004. We still use Augie’s authentic recipes that have been passed down through generations and won the Best Sauce Award at the Cleveland Pizza Bake-off.
